Our Team
- Meet Abby -
My love of all things maths and science began when I was just a child. Always finding that numbers and equations came naturally to me, I followed this passion from school to the University of Wollongong where I studied a Bachelor of Science Advanced, and graduated with 1st Class Honours in Engineering Physics in 2008.

While studying, I began tutoring the undergraduate students in the science labs and teaching bridging courses for prospective students in maths and physics. It was during this time that I realised my passion for helping others learn and further develop their skills to become more confident and more able students.

And that is how, when and why I created Get Ahead Tutoring Services. I wanted to share my love of numbers and my enthusiasm for learning with students of all ages. Over the years I have helped students prepare for NAPLAN tests, survive the HSC, gain early entry into university, but most importantly gain confidence in their own knowledge and abilities.

When I am not at work, you can find me volunteering at my local school and footy club or at home with my young family, made up of 4 crazy kids and 2 lazy doggies. We love being outdoors, playing sport, spending time with friends and enjoying all that our local area has to offer.
I look forward to meeting you!

Testimonial -
"Abby was a great tutor for me during years 11 & 12. If there was a nearby test or something unexpected Abby was flexible & understanding. She was always happy to chat to my parents & me in her own time, before or after tutoring.
I was an average student - scoring an average 50-70% throughout high school. Abby helped me to achieve an improved 84% in my HSC mathematics exam. I am now 1 year away from finishing my Bachelor of Primary Education degree.
Thanks for the help!"
